Welcome Back Letter!

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to what will be a wonderful third grade year for you and your children!  I am excited about this great group of third graders – all 26 of them!!!  I have lots of fun things planned to enrich and encourage growth and learning!  I will be here for you and your children every step of the way, so please feel free to contact me if you ever have any questions or concerns.  I check my email daily, or you can call my extension at Bartlett.

I keep a class blog, which is like a website that will keep you all informed of the wonderful things we are doing in class.  I try to update it regularly, and love to include pictures of your children and their work.  It is to give you a peek into their school day, and the great work they are doing.  The school picture permission slip will serve as permission for our class blog.  If you would prefer that your children’s pictures or work do not appear on the blog, please let me know.  Our blog site it, http://stanhopesclass.edublogs.org.  I use edublog because it is a blog site build for education.  It provides safeguards for the children, and gives us opportunities to communicate with school children globally.  If you are unable to access the class blog please let me know, and I can print you copies of our postings to keep you informed of the wonderful things we are doing!

Your children to not need to bring any supplies with them to school, we have everything that they will need!  We go through a lot of soft tissues, especially during cold season, paper towels and green cleaners, so any donations would be greatly appreciated.

I look forward to getting to know all of you and your children this year!  Hopefully I will see all of you at our Parent Information Night on September 10^th!
