Cloudy with a chance of…

Ahhhh!!!! Watch out for the spicy tomato tornado, the crispy bacon clouds, and the drizzle of frosty chocolate milk… We have been working hard on some wonderful weather stories based on the book “Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs”. We began by brainstorming a list of forms of weather. We then generated a list of breakfast foods. Once we had this list, the kids filled in a writing web to help them organize their ideas for their weather forecasts. Below is the web I created to help with writing organization. This writing assignment helps them with organization, and making great word choices. They have come up with some incredibly spicy words! These forecasts will make your mouth water!
